Marking Peace Day by Looking back on education and peacebuilding events over the summer.

We are looking for a new Trustee to join the FIGS Board and take on the role of Honorary Treasurer, to help take care of the charities finances as we continue to invest in girls' education in Western Equatoria, South Sudan.

We are looking for up to three new trustees to join the board of this ground-breaking educational charity, including a Treasurer, a Fundraising Lead, and a further trustee whose skills and experience will strengthen the Board of Trustees.

Heavy rainfall will soon refresh the lush, green campus of Ibba Girls' Boarding School. Those are not the only signs of vibrant life and new possibility arriving at IGBS; the girl students have returned for the start of a milestone academic year, when for the first time there are students in all four secondary year groups.
